How to use Split PDF
- Choose an unencrypted PDF and confirm its page count.
- Enter the page numbers and ranges you want, separated by commas. Use increasing ranges such as 3-5.
- Extract the selected pages and download the single result PDF. Check the page count and order in the download.
A practical example
For a six-page PDF, enter 1, 3-5 to create one PDF containing four pages. Enter 5, 1-2 if you want page 5 followed by pages 1 and 2. Duplicate page selections are included only once.
Common questions
Does splitting create a separate file for every page?
This tool extracts your selection into one PDF, rather than downloading individual page files or a ZIP. Run it again with a different selection for another document.
Why is my page range rejected?
Numbers must be within the source document’s page count, and the first number of a range must be no greater than the last. Use commas between selections, for example 1, 3-5.
